Found on a Harley list I'm on.
Here's the comment that came with the picture:
| Quote: | This is a spy shot of the 1500cc/1700cc Triumph parallel twin
set to debut in July. That's one big mofo of a motor there. All
I know is that this is the rough prototype, has liquid-cooled
motor, 6-spd tranny, and belt-drive. Never thought I'd see
that day when a Triumph twin had a bigger motor than HD. |
Looks to me like a Bonneville on steroids. I'd like to ride one. _________________ George Pollard

Wonder what it would be like tuned and packaged in a T100 or Thruxton chassis? If Triumph does this as a cruiser,
it will be interesting to see how it does against the Rocket. Will the buyer base their decision on price, torque or style? _________________ David Day
